Making things for fun

I love a little side project — especially ones that help me learn something new or create value for others. Here are a few things I’ve built outside of my ‘day job’.

  • @sliceoftheworld

An instagram account where I share reviews of pizza I’ve consumed around the world — from NYC’s finest slices to the product of the first brick oven in a tiny town in DR Congo.

  • Data Portraits

A set of charts visualising data from my personal life — things like books I’d read, places I had travelled, and exhibitions I’d experienced. At the start of the pandemic, I decided use my time in lockdown to develop my data visualisation skills and this was the result.

  • The Anti-Network

A series of intimate discussions on abstract topics such as ‘success’, ‘connection’ and ‘change’, hosted with Frankie Bennett. Our gatherings facilitated open exchange between people who were unlikely to cross paths otherwise and were described as ‘unexpected’, ‘thought-provoking’, and ‘supportively challenging’.
